Responsibilities and Goals

Responsibilities of Deer Crest Master Association:

  1. Safety and Security:
    • Provide a safe environment for owners, guests, and visitors.
    • Monitor and control vehicle access through gates, allowing only authorized entries.
    • Oversee and assist with gatehouse operations.
    • Provide relevant information about Deer Crest to homeowners.
  2. Infrastructure Maintenance:
    • Inspect and maintain infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and retaining walls.
    • Inspect and maintain roadways, including snow removal and road repair oversight.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Maintain the HOA operating budget.
  4. Common Areas:
    • Maintain common areas, including landscaping and noxious weed control.
  5. Construction Coordination:
    • Coordinate with residential and commercial construction managers.
  6. Community Engagement:
    • Coordinate HOA meetings.
    • Facilitate yearly HOA activities to give opportunity for engagement.
  7. Trails Maintenance:
    • Maintain hiking, biking, and ski trails.
    • Conduct snowmaking and grooming operations on Deer Crest ski trails, including groomer maintenance.
    • Provide Ski Patrol services on Deer Crest ski trails.
  8. Communication:
    • Assist in disbursing information for entrants onto the property.
    • Keep homeowners and/or their property managers informed about issues affecting their Deer Crest property.
    • Accurately report and log any problems with facilities, areas, guests, or other concerns.
  9. Service Excellence:
    • Provide the best service possible through training and personal skills development.
